Consider whether the person will try to swallow any of the items, or whether the items are going to possibly be thrown.
Also, please do not give light-up toys to people that have seizures.

pretty popular. A good selection to make a "sensory fun" kit

Many people with autism or aspergers' have strong interests in certain subjects. If you know some of their interests, then anything you buy that relates to it will be enjoyed. This could be toys or books. If you don't know any of their special interests, try to stick with general sensory items or maybe send them a gift certificate.
